LEATHER IS TRENDING!

Leather is all the rage! From Lebron James to Meek Mill, every rapper and/or baller can be seen rockin' leather these days.

Ok, so they really done messed up now. Because I got the idea to replicate this look by using a pair of faux leather leggings. I cut the sleeves off a black T-shirt that I got from Michael's. (3 for $10.00).  (I recommend slipping the legging on the arm and mark with chalk or pencil before cutting.)

Turned everything inside out and pinned them together and with my trusty sewing machine, sewed them together. (It took longer to pin it then to sew it).

My son was the inspiration/model for this creation. Voila!

The Bag Edition

So, I'm in my favorite thrift store, Unique, and I'm on a mission. I go to my usual sections, browse at the shoes, look at the housewares and then the clothes.

Ok, so, I had just came out of the dressing room after trying on a leather pencil skirt (didn't fit btw) and I saw this blood red Coach clutch. I had to reach over two shopping carts to snatch it up. The price was $35.99 and I didn't bat an eyelash, this puppy was coming home with me.

Bag: Coach

Now, I always wanted a Fendi bag, but didn't want the one with the double "F" monogram. I wanted a low key look. And I spotted this one for $19.99. I was like, "this, right here, is my, swag"! Shout out to Soldier Boy.

Last, but not least, my Louie. It was only $14.99. I already  have one, so I got this one for my daughter. Something little to throw your change purse and keys in.

I'm going to take the Coach to the Coach store to verify if it is real. They can check the serial number to see if it's authentic. The Fendi, I'll say it's "vintage" and the Louie, it looks good to me! TTFN, ta ta for now....

When I saw these beauties, I could not, let me tell you, could not leave the store without 'em.
It was 25% off Mondays, and I scooped these up for $9.75!!! I thought I'd just about died...

They done messed up now!

That's what I always say when I find something amazing.  It could be a store with clothes, a restaurant with bangin' food, website with accessories, jewelry, bags and shoes or even music artists. When I spot something I love; I look around and over my shoulder like does anyone else know about this and say "they done messed up now!"
